Job Title:  Product Development Manager

Description: 
  1. Job Summary:

This role will take the lead on researching, assessing, and coordinating a new product's build. You will be responsible of manage the development and improvement of existing products and services, to better meet customer needs

 

  1. Key Roles & Responsibilities

Head of Product Planning Department performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

  1. Developing new products (40%)
  • Responsible for planning and develop strategy for new product, product enhancement and product re-design;
  • Determines process, product features and policy proposal to develop new product
  • Plans, evaluates and resolve technical feasibility, issue to ensure that project milestones are met to launch product
  • Defines and implements report and process to monitor product’s performance post-launching for enhancing and improvement as needed

 

  1. Controlling and reporting the projects (30%)
  • Budgets and prepares financial analysis report and proposal to the top management to develop/ improve product performance
  • Oversee key projects, process & performance reports, data analysis;

  1. Collaborate closely with relevant departments (20%)
  • Negotiate, co-operates and works with relevant departments as needed to accomplish plan;

  1. Other tasks assigned by Head of division from time to time (10%)

  1. Qualification
  • University Degree majored in Business Administration/Finance & Banking or any related major
  1. Work Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in banking/finance sector and 3 years of experience as project manager;
  1. Knowledge
  • Keep up to date with market’s changing and technology that would affect new product development;
  • Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions;
  • Planning and develop strategy for new product, product enhancement and product redesign
  • Key projects, process & performance reports
  • Consumer finance product features and policy proposal
  • Monitor performance and Analyze sales and performance records/KPI
  • Forecasting and budgeting process
  1. Skills
  • Has good problem-solving abilities, able to troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of plan’s success or failure;
  • Budgets and prepares financial analysis, Strong Analytical abilities, analyze large raw datasets, write comprehensive reports.
  • Project management, Sales performance management
  • English – Advance;
  • Has strong leadership abilities (Innovation, creativity and conflict management)
