Job Title: Assistant Credit Policy Manager

Job Summary
The key role is to develop and monitor credit lending policy of consumer loan products. This job holder is also responsible for analytics to review the impact of new credit policies, lending program to give input for higher level to have proper action to support for business growth
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Credit Policy Development/Implementation:
- Develop credit policies, credit risk criteria for lending programs.
- Work with related stakeholders (IT, Credit Operations …) for credit policies implementation including system setup & UAT testing.
- Monitoring the Credit Policy implementation, ensure proper execution of policies by Credit Operations functions.
2. Portfolio Monitoring:
• Analyze the credit performance of lending portfolio to provide findings for business decision making and credit policy adjustment, if necessary, to maximize the financial benefit of the business while maintaining credit quality.
3. Analytic packs implementation and enhancement:
• Implement, develop, enhance analytic tools with the MIS infra-structure and prepare regular or ad hoc analysis to project, track credit performance of portfolio.
4. Company database management:
• Manage different kinds of company database, refresh lists of companies to target, classify various customer segments.
• Ensure company databases to be timely updated so that business is always able to prospect right customers and support credit initiation and collection processes
5. Internal and external policy compliance:
• Be responsible to prepare, submit and retain documents related to Credit Risk for both internal & external usage purposes (internal lending policies, SBV/CIC reports, regulation/legal documents, operational risk documents ...) to ensure the compliance with local/regional requirements.
6. Other tasks
Job Requirements
- University Graduate, major in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Statistic, Econometrics or related fields.
- 3-5 years experiences in Banking or Consumer Finance with practical knowledge in portfolio analysis or credit policy or credit verification/underwriting for unsecured lending products. Experience in secured loan lending is an advantage.
- Credit policy, product development, portfolio analyst or credit verification/underwriting/approval experience
- Local regulations, legal requirements in banking/finance fields
- System UAT testing, business rule logic experience
- Understanding of unsecured loan/secured loan/Credit card lending/operational process
- Strong at numerical skills
- Fluent both spoken and written English.
- Good at Excel Pivot table
- Leadership and people interaction skills.
