Job Summary

  • In charge of compensation and benefit roles, this job holder will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing the employee compensation policies of the company. He/ She will cover the salary and compensation policies and ensures that they are attractive to retain the existing faculty and to draw the attention of talents. 
  • This position is overall responsible for strategy, analysis, overall design, implementation and administration of the Shinhan Finance compensation and benefits programs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Salary Survey & Benefit Advisory:

  • Researching and scrutinizing the general factors like government policies, tax changes, and market conditions to ensure the comp package is capable of providing an expected standard of living to the employees.
  • Playing a role as advisory in staff cost analysis and budgeting.
  • Conduct surveys to discover the expectations of the employees regarding to
  • the several of compensation schemes.

2. Project Management:

  • HRIS: Responsible for the accurate management of HR data in the HRIS by ensuring accurate information input. Ensure that all changes in HR data has to be supported by signed document from relevant managers. No information change is conducted without supporting document.
  • Payroll system
  • SAP data management

3. Policy review & composing

  • Review annually current policies and update
  • Benchmark with market and propose for new benefits if any
  • Align with relevant laws and update on Company’s policies.

4. Reporting

  • Deliver monthly HR report & data analytics based on request from different stake holders.
  • Accuracy & completeness of HR databases & reports 

5. Any other tasks

Job Requirements

1. Education background & experience

  • University degree
  • At least 3 year of experiences in relevant C&B and HR general
  • Previous work experience in a multinational company and/or consumer finance/banking industry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of local and global HR Processes and Policies
  • Experience in SAP and in managing complicated data system

2. Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge about Labor Law, PIT, SHUI Law
  • Knowledge about financing, banking are advantages
  • Strong about IT is an advantage

3. Skills

  • A problem solver and be able to work independently
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Solid command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Logical thinking
  • Exceptional analytical skills required to perform financial modeling and interpretation of data from multiple systems or sources.
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, data analytic & reporting skill
